Yesterday was an absolutely georgeous day outside. The sun was shining brightly, there was a nice breeze and the temperature was in the low 80's with low humidity. It doesn't get any better than this!
I awoke and noticed that I was a little bit dizzy when I got out of bed, but I sat down and did the morning journal, not feeling too bad. Marilyn had coffee ready by the time I finished writing so I had a cup of coffee but noticed that I was still dizzy and not feeling well so, after one cup of coffee, I returned to bed. Marilyn was in her robe, the one we call "old shedder" because it drops little fuzz balls all the time.
She stayed in her robe rather than coming into the bedroom and getting dressed. She didn't want to disturb me. She is so sweet!
It was nearly noon and I was still in bed but was awake, and Marilyn was still in her robe, when we heard the sound of a truck pulling up close to our RV.
Marilyn had all of the windows and our door open, and I heard her say "Hello" to someone, so I got out of bed.
It was Dan & Pat Sullivan, who read our blog each day. We knew they were coming to the valley and were anxious to see them. Why did this day have to be one day when I wasn't feeling well? Drats!
Marilyn stood outdoors in her robe visiting with these good people and I stood in the doorway, in my pajamas, talking to them through the screen door.
I thought I was feeling better so we made plans to go to the mariachi Mass together at the Basilica.
Alas, that was not to be, because I just didn't feel good enough to get out and about.
Marilyn walked down the street to their site later in the day, and spent some time visiting with them. They are very nice people and Marilyn says that I will like Dan a lot. I must say that I am looking forward to meeting them again.
We watched some football and some baseball on TV and turned in before either of those games ended.
We had a good night of sleep last night and I do feel better this morning.
I'll have my morning coffee with Marilyn, then get in the shower, and see how I feel. Hopefully, we will go to church this morning, and take Dan & Pat along.
I have e-mails and messages to answer and things to get done. Remember all those things I put on my "to-do" list? I haven't done any of them yet.
Well folks, Marilyn has the coffee perking and I have no pictures to post, so I'll get off of here for now.
I have my fingers crossed that I will be back to my normal self today. I can't wait to see what this day has in store.....
