Yesterday we awoke to an inside temp in the mid fifties. Brrrr.. Too cold to have our coffee outdoors! We sat indoors, all comfy and cozy, once the furnace warmed us up. The furnace works good and it took only a few minutes to get warm.

After coffee, Marilyn wanted to go for a walk but I was engrossed in getting our trip journal map corrected, so I stayed glued to the computer.

I went back to August of 2006, when I picked up a corporate jet in Paris and flew with my friend, Captain Beli, to London, Kano, Nigeria, Lusaka, Zambia, Mfuwe, Zambia, back to Lusaka, then to the Seychelles for fuel and on across the Indian ocean to Mumbai, India.

I had the map all messed up and wanted to take the time to get it correct. I also had not made any changes to the map for the trip to Alaska, so I corrected that also.

Marilyn had returned from her walk before I finished on the computer.

She made a delicious lunch, beginning with sauteed onions and celery, added crab meat and shrimp, then added cheese on top, leaving it all in the skillet until the cheese was melted.

It is Yummy!

That reminds me, we have had several requests for the recipe to Ed'd famous penne pasta.

Please go back in our journal to the date of March 15th, 2007, and you will find that recipe. Let me know how you like it.

I found our solar powered lights to put along the patio, and put them up yesterday. Of course, the term "solar powered" isn't quite correct since they are battery powered and the battery is charged with the solar cell. But they do a nice job and add to the ambiance of the place.

Marilyn and I sat outdoors yesterday evening, until it was time to come indoors to watch the world series. I got too sleepy watching it and had to go to bed before the game was over.

We left only one window open in the dining room, and two windows open in the bedroom last night. The temperature inside was 66 degrees this morning. That's better!

Jennifer called on her way to work this morning and told us the temp back in Palmyra, MO is only 36 this morning. Now that is too cold for us snowbirds. Brrrr

I have a couple of pictures to add to the journal today, so I will post those for you good folks.

Marilyn and I have some plans today but we'll save that part of the adventure til tomorrow. :)

It is time to get the coffee going and get a start on this wonderful day. The weather has been awesome and it looks as if it will continue that way for awhile. Just too nice to stay indoors.

I can't wait to see what this day has in store.....
