We almost forgot about finishing up our "blog" from our trip so this will be our final sign-off from this years adventures.

We left Perry, Ga on the 26th and arrived home about 2:45pm on Thursday, the 27th. On the way, I called our dentist to schedule John for another temporary filling for his tooth. What a dentist - 45 minutes after we returned home, we were on the road again (minus the trailer) headed to Plant City. 10 minutes in the chair, the sharp edges ground down, John was ready to go home, with an appointment to return on Monday for a fitting for a temporary crown. Ah, relief at last. So at 4:30pm, we were officially back home (for good this time) and proceeded to start unloading the trailer.

What a job!! It actually took us 2 days to get it all cleaned out and John started working on the little things that had gone "bump" in the night and didn't work anymore. I spent the next 3 days cleaning, doing laundry and just trying to get our house back to "normal". Then after John was done doing "his thing" on the outside and inside, I finished cleaning the inside and getting it ready for its home away from home, the storage facility. We had the unit in our driveway for a week before we could take it back and believe me, we were so tired of looking at that huge thing in our driveway, that we know for sure our neighbors were certainly tired of it too! But all's well that ends well, it's back, we have our driveway back, we bought a cover for our unit, it's now on, the wheel covers are on and that part of our adventure is finished.

Since we've been back, we've also started the process for a new kitchen make-over. That's still a major work in progress, but this week should see a final decision on who is actually going to be the lucky company to do this. John is just chomping at the bit to start the demolition. We've already purchased the 4 major appliances with the range and the fridge already in place. The over-the-range micro and the dishwasher are cohabitating nicely in the garage, just waiting for their grand entrance after all new cabinets are in place.

Yesterday, October 13th, my nephew Mike and his new bride Alicia were married on Casey Key in Nokomis, FL. What a beautiful beach wedding and reception! It was very relaxed and casual, the weather was gorgeous, cool breeze, great company and a great time was had by all. This was the first time in over 15 years that I had been able to see all three kids, Mike, Mark and my niece Buffy all at the same time in one place. What a very special weekend and very special memories!

So now I guess it's time to wrap up the summer. What a fabulous trip we had, met some very good new friends, saw new things and revisited the old ones. Unfortunately, John & I both ran out of "traveling" steam and we decided to bypass our trip to North Carolina to see friends and family.

Thank you to all of you who came with us, hope you enjoyed yourselves and we truly look forward to having you again next year with our "Adventure #3 to"......who knows where? We haven't decided yet, but we'll let you know.

Love to all and so long for now.........................John & Jean
