RV park for birds

Heading south!

Birds parked at Wal-Mart

On our way to Mckinney, Texas, to get new shades put on our RV, we stopped one night in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Greenville, Texas. As soon as we parked, we noticed hundreds, if not thousands, of birds perched on wires, trees, fences, and roofs all over the parking lot. The photographer from the local newspaper came by to take pictures, because nothing like this had never happened before. By the next morning the birds were gone.

We figured that birds on their way south like to stop at Wal-Mart just like RV-ers do.
