This'll make it all clear (if you speak Portuguese!)
A view of Caxias - and a Darius who was very happy...
He's still excited by the view!
A big monument at the top of the hill
Da's put on a little weight since we've been away!!
'To sleep or not'!! - at least we weren't staying here!!
Stephanie, Michael and us at her home

Stephanie's lovely family
We couldn't decide where to go from Foz, and came to Caxias just because the bus came this way at the time we wanted to go! Luckily, the girls at the tourist information stand were really helpful, and found us somewhere to stay and gave us lots of information on the area. WE had an easy day exploring the town, and when we got back to our hotel (a liberal use of the word!), Stephanie, one of the girls from tourist information, was there to invite us to have dinner and stay with her family the next night!! So we spent another day here, and visited the town's small museums, before meeting her on her way home in the evening. We spent a really enjoyable evening with her family, eating fantastic home-cooked food, and practicing our Portuguese! Brazilian people are incredibly hospitable and friendly!!
