I went to a yoga class back at the YMCA this morning. I have found that I usually don't like yoga classes in the Ys. They are usually freezing cold since they are connected the rest of the Y's cooling system and they are usually very focused on "working out" rather than the spiritual side of yoga. Today, I was pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful class. It was nice to do yoga on a Sunday morning. I am planning on going back to the same teacher on Tuesday night. I love what yoga does for my body and my mind and I am really trying to do more of it. I have been doing it at home with a DVD some in the morning and the evenings.

After I got back we all headed over to Joe's Uncle John and Aunt Paula's house for a birthday party. Joe's cousins were all there and we got to catch up. It seems like it has been forever since we have seen any of them. We laughed and laughed and told stories way into the evening. Do you ever have people in your life that when you see each other, you both say, "why don't we get together more or stay in touch more" because you have such a great time together? Why do we do that? There are many people in my life that I wish I stayed closer with (and if you are reading this, yes, I am talking to you). I suppose life just gets in the way. There are only so many hours in the day in which to do things. It makes me sick, but TV is eating up my time lately. We haven't had cable in forever (way before we left on this trip) and have never been big TV watchers. But Grandma has cable and it has taken hold of all of us. That is why I am so behind on the website - I have been spending any extra time watching TV! At night, instead of reading or working on the journal like I usually do I am learning how to become the next Iron Chef or What Not to Wear. Yuck, I can feel my brain cells evaporating. I need to make some changes - quickly.
