My birthday dinner!!


I have had a great day in Tuscany, the place i am in is Siena. The only city with a wall built around it and still standing! This morning went into the center early, before the crowds and enjoyed a cappuccino with a few old men! I made my way to the center plaza and struck conversation with a lady from Virginia, her husband was climbing to the top of the clock tower...hmmm maybe i will do that! The cost was 7 Euro, it was October 7, 7 is my lucky number...i was convincing myself to go, even though my fear of heights was also kicking in. 400 steps up a very narrow and steep staircase i went! The view was incredible.

I enjoyed dinner with a couple from Georgia who gave me their home number with a welcome invitation to stay with them anytime.
