Last night, we stayed at the Zulu Nyala Country Manor. It is a very nice, comfortable hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here because everyone is very nice. I woke up late because I am tired from the flight and the time zone difference. We went and had breakfast in the hotel. I had an omelet with toast and strawberries. We had to pack our bags because after the Mapungubwe National Park, because we are going to a new hotel. We visited Mapungubwe National Park, which is a very interesting park. It was about an hour and a half drive. We took a car service, which was very good, which was referred to us by our concierge. The Lost City is where a developed African Civilization thrived from 1200 - 1270 A.D. They traded with places as far as Egypt, India, and even China! The most amazing artifact that I saw was the Golden Rhino. We had lunch at the Wildlife and Mystic Scenery Café. The view from the café was amazing. I saw sandstone formations, mopane woodlands, riverine forests, baobab trees. The animals that I saw were elephants, giraffes, a white rhino, eland, gemsbok, lions, leopards, hyenas, many birds, and owls. I took a Tree Top Walk which was fun. We took a 45 minute walk through the riverine forest on a raised canopy that took us to a location that had an amazing view of the Limpopo River. We took the same car service back to the Shishangeni Private Lodge. It is a beautiful hotel. The Shishangeni Private Lodge is located in one of the must beautiful parts of the Kruger National Park. I was very tired from the tour of Mapungubwe National Park, so I went for a quick swim, watched some TV and got ready to go to sleep. It was 8:00PM EST when I went to sleep.
