Well, the class reunion was a big success. We had a wonderful time. We were awake early enough the next morning, to get a shower and dress in time for the first coffee in the lounge.

We visited with old friends and people who had been in other classes, said goodbye to some in our own class, shared breakfast with Larry & Doris Ann and our good friend, Sherry, and visited with still more people who wandered in. It was very enjoyable.

After we arrived back at our RV in Hannibal, we unloaded the van and immediately got busy doing things which needed to be done.

Marilyn began getting the inside of the RV ready to move. I decided to finish waxing the truck. Naturally it is supposed to rain the next couple of days, including our travel day, which is tomorrow. :)

After I finished with the truck, I aired up all of the tires to the proper pressure, made a few phone calls to friends, grilled some pork steak, and called it a day.

This morning I plan to get everything outdoors put away or properly stowed and make sure we are ready to roll. We are driving over to Monroe City, MO, to put flowers on the graves of our daughter, Kelly, and my parents. Then we have things to put into the safety deposit box at the bank, and a few friends to say goodbye to. Jennifer is going with us today.

Tomorrow we leave, headed to Liberty, MO, to have a few items repaired on the RV. Then we will be in Carthage, MO where we have reservations at the Big Red Barn Campground, for a couple of days before going on south to Eureka Springs. We will also visit Ft Smith for a couple of days before moving on to Hot Springs for about a week.

After our stay in Arkansas, we will make our way toward Three Rivers in Texas, where we plan to stay a few days at Choke Canyon State Park. We hope to see Rick & Sherry and maybe Deb & Brian from San Antonio while we are at Choke Canyon.

We will arrive at Llano Grande on Oct 15th and get set up to wait for our friends from Canada and Missouri to begin arriving. We are anxious to see them again.

Before I quit this journal entry, I want to post a few pictures from the reunion for you, so I will do that.

Well, it is time to get the coffee on and get started on this day. Sure hope all of you are having a wonderful day today. You know we will do our best to do the same thing.

I just can't wait to see what this day has in store....
