We got up this morning and decided to move the RV. We wanted to drive out to Dead Horse State Park to see what it was like before we pulled the RV there. There are brown road signs pointing to the State Park, but the map showed a shorter way by following the Colorado river. Funny thing about maps, they do not show the difference between a two lane road and an off-road trail. I sure am glad that Anthony made us get a four wheel drive. I did not use it going up, but we got to a point where Granny said enough and I turned around. I put it in 4 Hi to creep down the hills. I was having fun, but I don't think Granny was. Anyway, We made it to Dead Horse and got a pull through site. It is supposed to rain again tonight, but it is truly amazing when the sky clears and you see the red sandstone cliffs against the blue sky and white clouds. Canyonlands and Arches National Park tomorrow. We stay here again tomorrow night.
