| Left Pangkor today to Penang. Caught the ferry back to Lumut then a coach to Butterworth and then a taxi over to Penang. Long day of travelling, really tired. We are staying in Georgetown on Penang, the place is really busy with lots of places to drink and eat (a change from Pangkor Island), only staying here for 3 days then we are off to Langkawi. Went up Penang hill by train, well I'd call it more a cable car. The steepest train track in the world (surely), the train is on a tilt so that when it's going up you can actually stand straight. If you are scared of heights then this isn't for you. |
