Our journey to Wanaka
and another...
The Canterbury mountain range
| We've just got back from Wanaka after having spent such an awesome few days with little ole Fo & Sarah. It was so much fun, we spent two days snowboarding at Cardrona where they work. The ski field was fab, it catered really well for the likes of me on those green and blue runs. It was so cool hanging out with some Calney's and ChippNamites. They were totally amazing hosts, cooking us breakfasts, dinner and making our pack lunch for the day on the ski field. We had a look around Wanaka which is beautiful. The town is build around Lake Wanaka and has a backdrop of snowcapped mountains. We thought about doing a sky dive there after a recommendation from my mate who has but unfortunately the weather wasn't too good so we're waiting a month or so. We spent a day at puzzle world. The place rocks, there's a huge room of tables with a variety of puzzles, there's loads of retro puzzles on display like those rubix snakes and cubes which brought back some memories. There are also some crazy rooms which make one person look massive and the other tiny, it was a great weekend. |
