| We followed Janet and Phil over to New Hampshire, taking the scenic route through Woodstock, VT and around the many lakes in the area. The old gang was already there when we arrived and the story-telling began almost immediately. It seemed that I got blamed for most everything that ever happened and, since Jim wasn't there, I deflected most of the blame on him. After a great BBQ brisket from Candy's kitchen, Ryan gave us a fabulous boatride around Lake Ossipee. The story-telling continued late into the evening. We chatted with Lynda in the morning on the telephone and I also had a chance to catch up with Jean as well. We had showers on and off, cooling down the hot and humid weather, but not the spirits of friends of 50 years! I missed getting a picture of the Born Free at Candy and Ryan's, but we gave it a top rating - SSSSS. |
