Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Yesterday we had our coffee indoors. It has turned warm and humid once again. Marilyn seems to have caught a cold or has allergies. We aren't sure which. Again! :)

Both of us look forward to the time when we can hitch up and pull out headed south. Arkansas and Texas are waiting.

I had agreed to lead tours yesterday, since they did not have a guide for Cameron Cave. I had a tour at 10:00 AM, but not at Noon so I jumped in and led a tour of Mark Twain Cave so that the two guides doing that cave could get a bite of lunch. As soon as I came out of that cave I had a group waiting to go to Cameron, so off we went. All of the tours had fun people on them and we had a good time.

I had planned to grill outdoors after work but the temperature was near 97 degrees and I decided that soup and a sandwich was a good idea. Marilyn fixed grilled cheese with hot pepper cheese, and tomato bisque soup. We later snacked on some of the really good fudge they make here at the cave fudge shop.

We watched a bit of TV and went to bed to read. Marilyn gave up and went to sleep around 10:30 PM but I read until after 11:00 PM.

We slept good last night but left the windows closed and had the A/C running all night.

We are both off work today. I have some RV chores to do and have plans to finish up the transfer of the timeshare property to the kids. Tonight we are going out to dinner with friends, Al & Linda and Bud & Nancy. It is margerita night at the "El Vaquero".

We need to get the basement cleaned up and take some things to the storage shed on the farm. Maybe we'll just take it easy today. No big plans.

It is coffee time. Yahoo!! I just can't wait to see what this day has in store......
