Marilyn enjoying breakfast

White hummingbird

Yesterday we sat outdoors enjoying the beautiful morning. We had our morning coffee and then decided that I should cook breakfast outdoors because it was such a nice day. Jeff stopped by to visit while I was cooking but he was too busy to stay and eat anything. We enjoy Jeff. He is a great guy. By the time we sat down at our picnic table to eat breakfast, it was 11:00 AM. We laughed that it was time to start cooking lunch. :)

As we sat outdoors, Al dropped by to show us some information he had about the "Cloud Nine Ranch" RV parks in southern Missouri. While he was here we spied a white hummingbird.

Marilyn was able to get some pictures of the hummingbird to show you. It is not a true albino because it does not have pink eyes, bill, or feet, but it sure is different.

Later, I worked on getting the right front tire on our van aired up. It has a slow leak which I need to take care of.

We had a phone call from our good friends, Gilbert & Louise, during the afternoon. It was so nice to hear from them. They are simply wonderful people who we became close to in the valley last winter and it is a pleasure to have them for friends. We will arrive in the valley on Oct 15th and our friends will arrive a couple of weeks later. We can't wait to see them again.

Bud & Nancy came by when they were finished working. Well, Bud had worked all day but Nancy did laundry, etc. They were sitting with us when the kids, Jennifer & Steve, came by. We visited with the kids for awhile, giving them information about the timeshare we want to transfer to them. After that, we all went to "Fiddlesticks" for dinner.

When we returned to the RV, the weather was nice enough to open all the windows.

We slept with the windows open again. All I can say about yesterday is that it was a wonderful day.

I volunteered to go in to lead tours of Cameron Cave today because they did not have a guide for Cameron. I plan to take another day off in place of this one.

Our friends, Ralph & Rosalie will be here one week from Thursday. We are anxious to see them also.

Oh my, life is so good! I just can't wait to see what this day has in store........
