Sam and Superbike

Speeding into the distance

The Jam and Sugar Doughnut

Sam and his trusty companion 'Superbike' - insert fanfare.... have made 3 trips to the Strwberry line cycle path this summer. The first trip was around Axbridge Reservoir from Cheddar to the boat club, and then back via the cycle path to the old Cheddar station. Speed grows in proportion to confidence, especially downhill and even teabag had problems keeping up

The second trip was from Axbridge along the line to Winscombe via Shute Shelf tunnel with its cool automatic lights to guide the way and give you just enough light to crash by in the dark bit in the middle. A fast trip to the old station at Winscombe was followed by a doughnut (ordered by Sam himself - "with jam and sugar"!)and a more sedate return trip to Axbridge.

The third outing was a 'feed the ducks' special to the far side of the reservoir and a race with every other adult cyclist along the railway path back to the start.
