Yesterday we had four tours of Cameron Cave. All were good groups of people and we enjoyed a good time in the cave. We didn't see many bats though. Only four or five bats each tour. That was a big change from what we had been seeing.
After work, I returned a couple of videos we had rented and picked up a few groceries at the store. I then prepared the pasta dish with shrimp and spicy sausage added to the sauce, which was a "store-bought" sauce we picked up in San Antonio. We both decided that we liked "Ed's famous penne pasta" better. :)
After dinner last night we sat outdoors under the awning, with a cold drink. Several people who are camped here stopped by to visit, and Al came over. He sat down and stayed awhile, visiting with us. While he was here, his wife, Linda, came by and informed Al that they had a phone interview for a job in the valley this winter. We all were excited by this news because they would be working at a campground only a few miles from Llano Grande, where we will be living.
We went to bed around 10:00 PM and slept with the windows open. It was quite cool for a change and we had the covers pulled up around our necks all night. But it was wonderful to sleep with the windows open again, and to give the A/C a well deserved rest.
Well, Marilyn has our coffee ready and we are going outdoors to have coffee under the awning.
This promises to be a wonderful day, we are not working, and I just can't wait to see what this day has in store......
