Roma!!!!! Our first stop on our honeymoon. Our course we have visited all the main sites such as the Collosium, the Vatican, the Sistine chapel, the Trevi fountain, the Roman Forum, etc. Our favourite by far was the collosium. We actually paid for a tour at the collosium (not common for us) and found out that an estimated 1 million people have been killed in the collosium, and that admission had never been charged from its creation until about 1997. I guess they need the revenue now.

Before you go to Italy, there are a few things you should know, A) one beer can cost $12. B) An Italian lineup is different than an North American lineup, however C) Gelatto, Pizza, and Calzones are cheap and widely available. Since we are too cheap to take a cab, we have pretty much walked everywhere and justify eating whatever we want.

The weather here has apparently been cool, but we are sweating like crazy. So much for fitting in.

Anyways, Tomorrow we are off to Pompeii to see the ruins.
