Old Faithful

Entered the park via the Notheast gate (near Livingston) crossing from Montana into Wyoming. My first impression was that even tumbleweed would roll here and it's only saving grace was the foresight of those that created it 100+ years ago. Alas, a notion premature as over a hill or two the park revealed it's own magnifigance! I travelled 50 miles from the entrance to Old Faithful that day and I passed (or stopped at) with glorious monotony geysers after hot springs after mud volcanoes. Yellowstone 1, me 0.

Stayed the night in Old Faithful Inn. A hotel built in 1903 featuring a large atrium and completely made of wood.
