Resolution bay trom the highest point we climbed...a steep slippery climb to...

Taxi home... Terry resting!

Up very early to catch the water taxi to the end of the Queen Charlotte track (Ships Cove) for a 5hour walk.We were then collected by water taxi and returned back to Picton again. Fabulous sunny weather but we were shattered at the end as it was up and down and quite slippery at times on the orange clay surface. Views were fabulous in the glistening sunshine and we were quite warm. Landscape was of drowned river valleys clad in native forest with slopes much gentler than the steep sides of a flooded glacial valley (fiords)and the edges near the sea were clad in yellow gorse.
