Summer in Mexico! travel blog

Last weekend was the best so far!! Spent it with Amy and Imer in Guanajuato, and compared with all the other places I have seen, I would have to say it is my favorite place I have visited so far. The town is pretty much surrounded by mountains, and on one of them, there is a huge statue of the famous PĂpila, from which you can see the entire town laid out below you. It looks amazing. So many different colored houses, so much green, and all over the city there are tunnels that you can drive or walk underground into, and arches over the streets, some even with houses on them! It is the most interesting, beautiful, and romantic place I have seen. There we saw the Diego Rivera house, where he grew up, the Don Quixote museum, the Wax Museum with all kinds of famous people inside, a magnificent hacienda, and, my favorite, El Callejon del Beso <3 . I will tell all about the story of this place next time we see each other :)
