Today we went on a magical boat trip around three other glaciers - Seca, Spegazzini and Upsala. On board, we bumped into Michael, who we had met in the main street in town a couple of nights before. He ended up sitting with us for most of the trip - when he wasn't off flirting with the lovely young ladies that caught his eye!

To be honest with you, this was the reason I wanted to come this far south to Patagonia - the combination of big, big skies changing all the time, the water and the ice: they were simply breathtaking. It's not often in life you see sights that you know will be imprinted forever on your mind. So when you are privileged enough to see them, it actually is quite a humbling experience. When you see the vastness of nature you do realise your own, quite insignificant, place in it.

Hence, we will let the pictures tell the story of the day, as they will do it far more eloquently that I could ever hope to. (Although we just need to add that the hot chocolate served on the boat could possibly be the best in the world!)

Enjoy xx
