Our 18-day trip with GREAT friends and GWRRA extended family is over. It will be one we will remember for the rest of our lives. There were many great moments shared among us. It was a ride through some of the most magnificent country we have ever ridden. The only downside to the trip was the extreme heat wave gripping the western states. Thank goodness for cool vests.

The morning of the 15th, Jere & Maurine left us in Clovis, NM and headed southeast for home. At the time it was not known they would turn it into a partial IRON BUTT ride. Like the energizer bunny, they just kept going and going and going. Over 700 miles for the day and arrived home that evening. I know for some of you young whippersnappers that may not sound like much. But you have to remember we are part of the geriatric crowd.

Bill & Jenny and Dale & Carolyn opted for a more leisurely day riding into Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City and spending the night before going on into home on the 16th.

Here are a few of the over 1000 photographs taken by the group during our adventure. All told with the daily excursions out to the National Parks and Hoover Dam while spending our time in Mesquite, NV over 5,000 miles was traveled.

Ken & Rhonda only got to spend the one day we were in Yellowstone National Park after leaving Wing Ding with us. Wish they could have made the entire trip.

Already looking forward to our next outing with this bunch!!!! There was never a dull moment.
