a past champion from Lafayette, CA

in front of the fire station

We spent Sunday and Monday nights at Coyote Valley RV Resort. Monday afternoon, we picked up (in the motorhome) our Morgan Stanley rep's in front of their high-rise, downtown Oakland office. We drove to a nearby park, extended our slideout, and had plenty of space for a comfortable meeting of five (including Woody).

On Monday, we also had doctor, dentist, and optometrist appointments in Walnut Creek, Concord, and Lafayette. We were hoping that this would be our last mandatory day in the Bay Area, but it wasn't meant to be. Krista's neurosurgeon wants to see her for one more follow-up next week. So we'll stay fairly close for the next week or so.

We have spent the last two days in Angels Camp, CA ... home of the Calaveras County Frog Jumping contest. I remember seeing champion frogs on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson when I was a kid.
