Ohio...yea! We were really excited about this stop! Don and I were raised in this area and we were looking forward to visiting with family and friends. We stayed at the Thousand Trails - Wilmington Preserve located about 35 miles southeast of Dayton. While there we would be attending a family reunion which would also allow us to see other folks from out-of-town that we haven't seen in quite some time. I can't tell you how good it made us feel that our calendar was so full for the two weeks we were there. We've been away for 21 years yet we've been able to maintain friendships across the miles...how cool is that!
As you can image, we did a lot of running around with a wide variety of things to do...some group gatherings, some one-on-ones, some family, some friends, some both, and several people came to see our new home. We had Big Boy platters at Frisch's a couple of times and also pigged out at Marion's pizza much more than we should have. We even got in a little shopping. All in all, it was a fantastic visit to Ohio. We'll be back!
