Last weekend -- St Paul, St Peter Holiday -- we spent 4 days in a City called Chancay, 2 hours north of Lima. We stayed at an old castle (castillo de Chancay) overlooking the ocean, and we visited ECO TRULY PARK, an ecological farm that had organic vegetable gardens (you can order food from them like a CSA), a nice vegetarian restaurant and the most unique constructions called TRULYS. You can actually stay overnight in those, and take different workshops,so we are looking forward to it.

Life in Lima is good. Very cold though...about 48-50F inside and outside-- no heaters. Hard to believe that 50F is cold but it REALLY is!

Jeremy and Diego will have a 3-week vacation starting July 14 we have no set plans yet, but probably work on the beach house to get it ready for the summer.

Diego will be celebrating his 4th birthday at the end of July!!! We'll update this journal with more pictures soon.

Peace,

Los Perrin

Ps. Happy Idenpendence Day!!
