Great Museum at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks

Maybe a Friendly Musk Ox??

Bailey Getting the Really Good Willow Branches

Tim got to play golf today at the most northern USGA course in the US. He had a good day and shot an 87. Susan and Tim then went to the Farmer's Market and got some sourdough bread, HUGE radishes, tomatoes and herbs. It was neat to see all the farm produce. We then went to the University of Alaska Museum on Alaska. Lots of really good exhibits and we saw a really good show on Alaska winters. Lots of cold weather for us Texans.

We went to the Large Animal Research Facility where we saw musk ox and caribou. The caribou was named Bailey and he hammed it up! Back at the RV park there was a park wide picnic with the park providing pork tenderloin and all the campers provided pot-luck. It was a really great dinner.

Tomorrow we hit the road to move closer to Anchorage and Soldotna.
