We were ready for breakfast before the Cadillac Diner opened.

I awoke at my usual time of 4 AM. I looked forward to some devotional time on the balcony. It was dark, but I could see the water as the ship cut through it. I watched the lights on the shore, read my bible and thanked God for His beautiful world. Shonda joined me around 5 AM. We had our coffee on the balcony and enjoyed the morning. We could not see the sun rise because we were headed southwest and our cabin was on the starboard side next to the island.

I don't know why but I love to walk laps around the ship. The walking track was on deck 6. This morning I was able to walk a mile before we met Ed & Sandy for an early breakfast in the Cadillac Diner. We docked at Hilo about 8 AM.
