|Today we went to Old Colorado City. This is actually a section of Colorado Springs. There are lots on neat shops and one place in particular is Magic Town. This is a miniature town all hand sculpted by artist Michael Garmin, a very talkitive fellow who we had the fortune of meeting. He spent time showing Linda and Cindy some of the ins and outs of his "town". You should not miss this.
Then we went on a tour of the horse stables. Now, I have not been in too many stables, but these are palacial. Brick pavers and walls, huge beautiful wood doors. Excersize room for the horses, complete with tread mills and Aquaciser. I know some people who don't live as good as these horses do.
We went to an authenic Mexican Restaurant and had dinner, Margaritas and listened to a Mariachi Band.
