As we have enjoyed a number of Presidential Libraries and Museums on our travels we made our way to Abilene, Kansas where the Dwight D Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum is located.
The Presidential Center has his early boyhood home, a large museum which covers his early life, World War II when he became Supreme Commander and his Presidential years. There is also the meditation chapel where the former president and his wife Mamie are buried.
