It was nearly noon by the time I left DeGray Lake Resort State Park. It didn't matter, though, because I didn't intend to drive very far today. The trip was only 118 miles.
I stopped in Texarkana at the Texas Visitor Center to find out where I could get some ink cartridges for my HP printer. Happily, there was an Office Depot just off I-30 at the very next exit. Nine cartridges cost over $91.00. Gasp! I've got to find a cheaper source! On a happier note, Daisy's lunch at the Flying J near Texarkana was "only" $2.979 per gallon, which was considerably cheaper than at Mountain View.
The last stop of the day was at Cass County Park Campground on Wright Patman Lake (off US 59 between Texarkana and Queen City). This will be my home for the next two nights. While I was hooking up, it started to rain a little, but I didn't get very wet because I was able to finish before it started raining harder. The rain didn't last very long and the sun came out. As you can imagine, the humidity was horrendous.
