Ok so today we finally went to Venice. It really was all that I had imagined it was like. We took melissa, one of Jonathan and Isabelle's girls, in with us to show us around and had a great time. Well most of us did. Looks like Lindsay had what I had last week but she also gets motion sickness, plus back issues, and all that stuff that makes your day shitty. We took a train into Venice and then headed for San Marco Sqaure. It was great fun! We fed the pidgeons. And it's not like just throwing the corn at them. You purhcase the corn, they see it, and then they attack you. No kidding! I'm not a huge bird person and after about five minutes I had a slight out of body expirience and heard myself screaming. After it was all over I and I was done laughing at the Japanese man screaming, Lindsay said I was indeed screaming pretty loud. So I was a little embarassed but Melissa was yelling and well Lindsay was yelling at me over my screaming. And mom was just laughing hysterically with birds stuck to her head. And after all of that I was the only one who got pooped on. But some crappy bird stepped in the other bird poop and walked it right up the back of my head. Gross! But this made Lindsay's day. Then we headed for the Bridge of Size? Crossed it had some lunch and then got on a water bus and took off to Murano Island. This is one of those placed that we have been wanting to go forever! We used to go watch the glass blowers in northern CA and we have some Murano Lighters. So it was great to go to the Island. Then we hopped on the water bus again. Mom had this great idea to just take the water bus all the way back to the train station. This was great for me but it was pure hell for Lindsay. So I took lots of photos since Lindsay spent a majority of her time trying to keep her stomach on the inside. Really it doesn't sound like much but it was a long day! And it was just awesome! I really loved it!!!! We are heading down to Florence tomorrow but I think we'll hit it on the way back up again.
