The flight in from Dublin was only fifty minutes, and we were in the same terminal as we needed to leave for Dubai. The long corridors were fitted with travelling walkways to help move from arrivals to departures .
The only significant thing we did was to handle our VAT taxation papers that merchants all over the European Union give you when you buy goods, and that must be stamped at the final port of call of the Union and posted back to the vendors. I assume they then cancel any additional tax we would otherwise have had taken from our credit cards.
We managed this successfully, had a meal at Thank Goodness It's Friday restaurant, and passed the time waiting for our connection to Dubai and home. The crowds were mind-boggling, each terminal a melange of demographics on the move.
