After we left Benson in SE Arizona we headed to Casa Grande which is just south of Phoenix for 2 weeks. Didn't take any pictures there, we just relaxed at the campground and the pool. There were several Alfa motorhomes there just waiting for the Alfa rally to start in Mesa. We all ended up getting together for a Happy Hour and snacks. After Casa Grande we drove up to the Alfa rally campground in Mesa. What a sight that was with all of us trying to get into our camp spaces and you couldn't tell one from the other. We found out that there were 230 Alfa motorhomes there for the rally. It was a fun week. The week was full of seminars which we went to and learned quite quite a bit. There were happy hours, dinners, breakfasts, wine and cheese get togethers, ice cream socials, and day trips. Next years rally is going to be around the Houston, Texas area...we just might go. Our group from the Pacific Northwest has mini rallies though out the year, might just have to try and get to one of them this summer or fall since we know a lot of the people now. After our week at the rally our travel friends, Bob and Jo and Doug and I moved to another park in Mesa where we would spent the next week site seeing though out the area surrounding Phoenix...that's the next entry.
