The empty gravel road through fertile farm country
A farm house - we saw only well maintained farm houses in...
Huh???
Now THIS is a house...
The campground we stayed at
We crossed the Missouri River into Iowa and took another scenic road alongside the Loess Hills. This is a surprise as I thought of Iowa was flat but this range was created by silty debris left by the ice age. We glided past some fertile farmland.
We notice mostly well maintained farm houses and fertile farms. Many of the villages we drove through featured dozens of ornate Victorian homes, with families still living in them.
