We moved from Pahrump to Beatty, then drove out to the Rhyolite Mining Ghost Town, a Nevada State Park. It was really an strange, ghostly feeling visit to the town. Just before we arrived at the town, some people had created some "ghostly" figures, one is a ghost with a bike, the other is "The Last Supper".

Afterwards we went to Death Valley and through Hell's Gate, the temp changes about 15 degrees as we headed down into the valley. Between 16 - 19 miles down towards the floor of Death Valley from Beatty, we put our hands out the windows and felt the temp change! Thus the name, Hell's Gate.

Enjoy the photos.......
