Today we should have been in Montego Bay; but, the fog causing the late departure put this port of call out of reach. Instead, we spend another relaxing day at sea.
I woke up with a sore throat. It is much windier than we expected and I probably got a chill jogging around the outside decks. We showered and headed off for buffet breakfast. Joe downloaded email and I tidied up a bit; it's a continuing challenge to stay organized in such a small space.
The sunshine was calling Joe so we went our separate ways....Joe to the pool and I browsed around the ship and dropped in on some of today's games: bingo, trivia games, etc. There's a blackjack tournament in the casino and they even have penny slot machines....haven't seen those in a long while. There are all kinds of organized activities for the numerous children on board.
Each day has a drink special with all kinds of exotic names; today is "Goombay Smash". For anyone craving Starbuck's, a coffee shop is available where they'll mix up your favorite concoction....a souvenir tumbler is even available for a price.
This evening's show was "Point & Click" featuring great vocal talents and dancing stars. It was very well done and quite enjoyable.
The cabin stewards are very talented when it comes to doing creative things with towels, nightgowns, etc. We took a picture of the little guy hanging in our cabin when we returned from dinner. Our cabin steward, Carlos, is looking forward to tacos in Cozumel tomorrow. They are able to get off the ship once a week and tomorrow is his day......
