April 12-15 & 19th, 2007

Here at last, ready to watch the Aussies in action. On arrival we checked into our hotel (rostrevor apartments in St Lawrence Gap), we had a great room on the 4th floor directly on the beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea so there were no complaints from us in the morning waking up to the sounds of the waves overlooking the bright aqua colored water. The room was great but at the end of the day we were here to see the cricket. We were expecting to see a heavyweight clash against Pakistan, but as we all know it turned out to be against the little know Irish team. Apart from the fact that we missed out on the first 4 wickets because our little red head friend (that's you Warwick Fenner) had our tickets and turned up half hour late, the match was great a full of Aussie atmosphere. We were just in general admission, but by the end of the match we had the chance to join in the party stand with the music pumping. It was a big day at the cricket, and also a big night afterwards. It was just amazing to bump into so many people from back home all the way over the other side of the world. Our stay in Barbados went really fast because it was such a great place, but now onto Grenada to catch up with a few boys from back in Queensland.
