| Headed off early through Death Valley to Visalia. Supposed to go to Mammoth Lakes however severe snow storms (60ft snow) has blocked path so staying at Visalia in California. Spent the majority of the day on the coach - stopped at Death Valley Visitors centre for awhile - not much to see except an environment of salt lakes, and lots of barren space. There are No Flies! Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Visalia. Whilst the hotel 'seems' nice, the restaurant was not prepared for the number of guests and had only two staff working. A 7 pm sit down meal saw us get food at 9 pm. The kids were famished and the parents getting frazzled! |
