And sunsets!....

Perfect, clouds & sunset!....

I got an email today wondering if we are still alive & well, so guess I will post a short note! Thanks for asking Jenny!

We are still in Las Vegas until one day next week. We hope to head out on Monday the 9th or Tuesday the 10th. We are leaving in the morning (Tuesday, 3rd) for Ely, NV to drop off the last few possessions we have that don't reside in the 5'er with us! A few collectibles & sentimental things we just aren't ready to part with yet!

In the past couple of months, we have sold nearly everything we have accumulated over the past 22 years & we are very glad to be rid of the $115 a month storage unit cost. We did accomplish the goal of keeping our "stuff" for one year just to make sure we really loved this lifestyle. And we really, really do! If you are curious if we would do this all over again, the answer is YES!

It has been exhausting reopening all the boxes & sorting etc & I will give a sigh of relief when we drop this load off on Wednesday! But it also feels very liberating. Not to be tied down to the "stuff." I know some of you will "get it!" It will also give us a chance to say our goodbyes to my parents & sister before we head in the opposite direction!

We made a trip to Saint George, Utah, just for the day so I could go to the "bioidentical hormone" doctor.

I sure hope they work. I gave up 9 tubes of blood for all the tests, & I don't do blood well! But, if this doc can cool me down it will be awesome! 11 years of radiating heat is getting a little old! LOL

We stopped in Mesquite to say our goodbyes to my sister & some friends there as well. It will be months before we see them again. Seems strange in a way. But Christmas will be here before we know it!

Anyway, I took a few pics driving through the gorge just outside of town & then a few more of the setting sun. There were a few thunder clouds in the area & the sky was so beautiful. I was driving, my hubby was sleeping in the passenger seat, so he was glad I took them so he could see what he missed! Oh, I did pull over to take them!!! Enjoy...
