Beth and Lauren 's African Adventure travel blog

After a couple of days visitng Shep at Ngala, we headed to Edeni reserve. We actually ended up staying at a nearby reserve Magaholo, where someone had a free house that we could stay at. The GVI house was full of volunteers - they have 15 at a time now! Usually 5 are up in Mariepskop at a time, but they were all done as it was nearing the end of their expedition. So we had a good few days lazing around and then going on afternoon research drives with the KERI girls Briget and Monica. It was cool. Had loads of amazing sightings, Rhino, Lions, Cheetah, Eles. It was great. Went to the Trading Post one night for the famous game platter - Warthog, Kudu, Eland, Impala, Waterbuck. All yummy.

Sunday we have the GVI end of expedition/year party - the theme is Wild West. Looking forward to it.

Thanks to everyone at GVI and Edeni for a great week and for looking after us. It was amazing.

Beth
