Feb 25th - 26th

We took the morning train from Bangkok to Pak Chong, a city just outside of the Khao Yai National Park.

Khao Yai National Park is one of the world's greatest parks, covering 2165 sq km and home to 200-300 wild elephants, deer, wild pigs, Malayan Sun Bear, Asiatic Black Bear, tigers, Leopards, Gibbons, Macaques Monkeys as well as the 4 types of Hornbills.

The park was also used in the film "The Beach" for a waterfall scene.

We spent two days here where we hired a guide and went with a small group trekking thru the jungle and caves. Enjoy the photos of the wild life we saw (and of some that we didn't).
