| Hello everyone...we love reading your messages so keep them coming, unfortunately we cannot upload any photos in China. We have lots and lots of good ones to add, so fingers crossed for Vietnam. Our flying visit to China comes to an end on Friday when we head to Vietnam, however, we have loved it and it's only wetted our appetite for more chinese adventures at some point in the future. Guangzhou was a really cool place and especially so due to the New Year celebrations. There was fireworks, partying until the early hours and Dim Sum eating all in the company of Frenchmen, Columbians, Canadians, Americans and an Australian guy. In between there was a visit to a 9th century temple to watch the chinese bring in the new year with prayers and lots of incense...... We are now in Nanning where we have been adopted by a very friendly and generous and well all around nice guy called Son!! He has found us a nice hotel, fed us like a king and queen and generally shown us the best of Nanning and of chinese people.... It will be sad to leave China but new exciting things await us i'm sure. Lots of love and hellos to everyone both of Chester and Chez Vegas origin....and all of those who aren't too!!xxxx |
