| It is now the 16th of february...left canada a whole whopping 12 days ago..seems like a lifetime already! There is no concept of time here...one day flows right into the next and it is challenging to even remember the activities of a few days prior! Since my last entry we experienced our first overnight bus- let me tell ya..not a huge fan! We are now a some internet cafe downtown Bonito- I laugh when writing that because it is quite similar to being downtown b-ville-not a lot to see or do! Spent the day at a ''natural''pool located just outside of town...it is fed by a nearbly river and is a true oasis- it even had several small sets of falls within the park! I know what you are all thinking as you read this blog- wasn''t this supposed to be an outdoor backpacking adventure? I agree- it has been a tropical adventure thus far but that will all change tomorrow....we are headed to Pantanal- an area of wetlands were the adventures are about to begin! Our accomodations will consist of hammocks and mosquito nets.....look out! Will not have internet access for the next few days- be patient (ha ha ha) and I will look forward to hearing from you all! Mom- this weeks update of greys anatomy would be much appreciated! Andrea- Haven''t heard from you since your first reply- is every thing o.k.? Love lots xoxoxo E |
