At the South Pacific Ball!
| Our first rainy morning, clearing in the afternoon. Another great day of MJ and bridge for Gretchen. We listed to a very interesting lecture on Sotheby's auction of some of Princess Margaret's jewelry which netted her son $17 Million plus to finance his business. Bob also attended a lecture on Tonga and Fiji, while Gretchen went to see the rehearsal of the forthcoming tango show. After dinner and the show by a great London West End male singer, we hurried to the South Seas Ball at the Queen's Ballroom which was decorated to the hilt island style. We danced a few numbers but need more practice. |
