Hello all,
How is everyone doing? Dawn and I are fine and having a great time on the coast of Cameroon. It is very hot for us Canadians 35 deg and very humid. sleeping was hard at first but we are getting somewhat used to it. Although we are still on the Coast swiming in the most beautiful beaches we have seen with water temps rivaling the bath water.
The culture is amazing, with markets of fresh fruit and veg plus meat and fish fresh from who knows where. The locals speak mostly french and english as we move closer to nigeria. We're a bit of an oddity, and get lots of waves and boujours from the locals. On the whole, everyone is really friendly. The plantlife is huge and colourful, with rubber tree plantations to big blossoming flowers we've never seen before. We'll show you pic's when we are back in Canada.
Our next country is Nigeria and that should be fun and exciting. DOn't worry, we're with a group and we stick together. I think we're bush camping for 5 nights in the Afi Mountains of Nigeria, so that should be challenging. We will have no internet access, so prob email later once we're in Benin or Togo.
Anyways gotta go, internet time is running out.
Love you all,
Dawn & Terry
