Last of the wet green scenery

The bridge we camped under

The statue under the bridge

We left Palenque and we headed towards Villahermosa. We were scheduled to spend the night in Villahermosa but we decided to go an extra 100 miles past Villahermosa in order to reduce the number of miles the following day. So instead of staying in Villahermosa we stayed 100 miles west of Villahermosa, I do not know the name of the town. There was a very large bridge and under the bridge was a statue erected to coremorate the construction of the bridge. It was very busy with a large number of trucks with no mufflers using the area as a roundabout (they call it a "retorno".
