Beer Crate slide at Jinga!!

We headed back into Uganda for the drive back through the mountains and onto our first game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. A slight delay after a 'pee stop' on the side of the road when one of the girls wallets got stolen - and the chase was on down the hill and through the village by a bunch of white boys. After 3 hours we eventually got a moneyless wallet back but the whole thing was bloody entertaining - our truck was surrounded by the entire village, and a fair few of the neighbouring villages I recon by the end of it!

Anyway, Queen Elizabeth National Park - all very exciting to finally be seeing all the big animals - namely Hippo, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephant and a Leopard which was all good. Also our first bush camp, which was very cool with hippos & hyenas around the camp at night and hyena's stole our shoes in the night! Very annoying!

We then headed back to Entebbe to visit a chimpanzee sanctuary. Watched them being feed, just like a bunch of naughty kids screeching and running around!

Onto Jinga - the adventure capital of Uganda - for a spot of white water rafting on the Nile River. Crazy stuff - nothing like getting sucked down into a grade 5 rapid to get the heart racing! We also decided a bit of team bonding was called for, and what better way to spend a rainy day than in the pub with a beer bong and shots of red sambuca......say no more!
