Perhaps the best single day of senic travel so far...up over mountains looking at large lakes and following galcier colored streams for miles...picture this on a one-lane gravel road..for the hikers like riding into Peralta....all day almos everyday..this is after all the Pan American highway!!! This section of the road was the brain child of Pinoche...quite a feat ..but if if it was built to move his army..I think Hanibals elephants would have been faster!!!any way we arrived in one piece and we all elected to stay in a hotel!! no pitching tents!!no buying the food..no cooking& cleanup!!! for one night...now its on to El Chaten..
