Kirsten And Soren From Coppenhagen, Denmark

MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 2007. COPACABANA, BOLIVIA. On the southern shore of Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake, sits the small town of Copacabana. Copa makes a convenient stop en route to Peru. I plopped myself down at Hostel La Cupula (112 Bolivianos, $14/night), on the hillside of Cerro Calvario overlooking the town and lake. At the hostel, I met Kirsten and Soren, a couple from Denmark on a one year round the world trip.
